As it is, I'm incredibly stoked to be sharing thoughts about the Blue Jays with my co-bloggers! I'm also really excited to see the Blue Jays set off in a new direction under the guidance of John Farrell with the hopes that they'll one day be able to someday show the "big boys" of the Yankees, Red Sox & Tampa Bay Rays that they CAN and they WILL eventually return to the days of baseball in September.
For now, I'm excited to see the new look of the Blue Jays--and while I don't expect 200+ homeruns from the team as a whole or another 50+ homerun season from Jose Bautista, I'm definitely excited to see what this team's gonna be made of...and to see more of what they showed last year: HUSTLE AND HEART.
Am I concerned about anything this year? Not really...but I am wondering about things like how Adam Lind will find the transition from being an outfielder/DH and of course, the pitching rotation, if the team can stay healthy AND the bullpen!
For now, I'm counting down the days till April 1, 2011 when my 18th year of watching baseball begins.
